XP- Agile Method

4 Feb

XP (Extreme Programming) is an agile engineering method as opposed to SCRUM which is more of a management method. It puts an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Unlike other methods of software development, XP delivers software as required rather than taking  long period of time to produce one functioning system. By consistently creating software, it allows XP to adapt and make changes even in the latter stages of the life cycle.

Another beneficial aspect of XP is it’s focus on teamwork. Managers, developers and customers are all vital memers of a collaborative team. This aids the team in 5 specific ways: Communication, simplicity, feedback, respect and courage. As this processs is broken up into smaller stages, team mates recognise the importance of other members work in the software development process.
