Analysis Stage of the SDLC

The analysis stage of the Software Develoment Life Cycle involves an in-depth analysis in order to obtain a clear understanding of the needs of the business and its people. A qood amount of research is done and other samples and demos may be used by the analysists in order to make the needs clear.

Requirements may also be gathered by observing employees while at work. This allows the analysist to see exactly what the workers need and what systems and processes could be implemented to make life easier for them and hence make the organisation far more efficient.
