Trends in Information systems- Multiple Uses

19 Feb

Hi guys,

In my last post I spoke about the formal uses of information systems that our used in the business and working world and, something we wouldn’t be used to just yet even if some  of us are working. However, in this blog I’m going to give you an insight into trends that all of us are aware especially the more recent and more suitable trends to us. This blog will give you a greater insight into uses of the internet seen as I mentioned the internet a good bit in my last post.

Firstly as we all know, social media such as Facebook , Twitter, etc. are dominating the internet big time. This is a huge information system which has multiple users all over the world in every continent. These are very important information system as it allows people to share life events amongst they’re  friends and family and to keep in contact with each other.  Also, Facebook can analyse what you search and the advertisements that come up on the side o your page are likely to b ones that interest you. That in my view, is very impressive🙂.

Twitter is also a very big social media website which Is built around the function of “Tweets” that allow you to communicate with a person. You can also follow many people around the worked and keep in contact with them.. even celebrities!

Without information systems I believe that the internet and especially social media networks would not be around today and certainly not to the extent they are used today.

Before the evolution of internet based information systems, it was very hard to keep in contact with people so overall I feel that the trends in information systems have been  highly successful ad useful amongst everyone.

Thanks guys, I’ll blog again soon🙂
