A systems analyst is vital for the success of a new system being incorporated into an organisation. For any system to succeed, it must meet the requirements of its users. The role of a systems analyst is not only to just gather information from present users but also to ensure the most efficient use of a companies resources be it finances, time, people etc. Problem identification is one of the main duties of a systems analyst and if this is not carried out correctly, this mis-judgement may cause the new system to fail and
