An Epic Example of Agile and Goodbyes

10 Mar

ImageHi IS World,

I’m afraid the time has come and that this will be my last post, I know you’re devastated but we’ll have to pull through this difficult time and I have some really interesting points to write about in this blog so please keep reading.

This post will be a continuation on my last blog giving examples of Agile Software Development being used in companies, I think this will be of real benefit come exam time!!!

The company that I will be discussing in terms of agile software development is GE Healthcare who were using traditional software development methods to complete their projects. However with the application of agile software development they halved the time needed to develop their projects. It wasn’t just speed they improved on, they established a whole new culture in the company. By vastly improving the communication between departments so as to complete the projects in a way that has all the needed requirements for the user. This shows how the theoretical benefits of agile development can become a real success to a business.

Other examples of companies that experienced similar successes with Agile Software Development would be NYSE Euronextand British Airways (B.A was the company discussed in my last epic blog) .Other organizations have seen incredible results from Agile methods of software development such as the Department of Homeland Security.

Well IS World thats all from me I hope you all enjoyed my blogs and that you find them beneficial for the Summer exams. Its been an absolute pleasure,

Fair well IS World
